As I grapple with life’s headlines, I’m constantly hearing the words “hope,” “cynicism,” and “skepticism” boxing with each other in my mind.

As fate would have it, the book “Hope for Cynics” came upon my radar. Often called a Pollyanna, aka naïve optimist back in the day. I recently have been calling myself a hopeful cynic.

As I read this book, I’m now trying on the tag #HopefulSkeptic.
